O‘ahu Ola Pono Challenge

​O‛ahu Ola Pono Challenge

May - June 2021
A Walk Across O’ahu challenge for youth K-12 and their families or afterschool groups!
Choose one of the following distances to walk or run from May to June:
  • 30 miles across (equal to the distance on the road from UH West O’ahu to Koko Head District Park)
  • 40 miles long (equal to the distance on the road from North Shore to Makapu’u)
  • 134 miles around the island (equal to the distance of roads around the island)--opportunity for teams of 4-5 youth and adults to participate
May 2021 Bonus Challenge: ​Plogging (picking up trash while you walk, jog, or run)—help keep your community clean! Plogging kits will be provided for the first 100 youth.
June 2021 Bonus Challenge: Photo of the week--take photos or draw pictures of a topic for the week and submit them for a prize.
