O‛ahu Ola Pono Challenge

A Walk Across O’ahu challenge for youth K-12 and their families or afterschool groups!

Choose one of the following distances to walk or run from May to June:

30 miles across (equal to the distance on the road from UH West O’ahu to Koko Head District Park)
40 miles long (equal to the distance on the road from North Shore to Makapu’u)
134 miles around the island (equal to the distance of roads around the island)--opportunity for teams of 4-5 youth and adults to participate

May 2021 Bonus Challenge: Plogging (picking up trash while you walk, jog, or run)—help keep your community clean! Plogging kits will be provided for the first 100 youth.

June 2021 Bonus Challenge: Photo of the week--take photos or draw pictures of a topic for the week and submit them for a prize.
