We want to hear from you!

The Hawaiʻi Afterschool Alliance's Summer 2024 Database is now accepting submissions! Our database welcomes a variety of in-person and virtual summer programs from anywhere in Hawaiʻi, as well as meal sites. If you are hosting a summer program or meal site, you can share dates, descriptions, and sign-up information all in one place where families can easily find and access it. Submit the form now!

The summer 2024 information that is captured in the form will be also used to help understand how HAA can better support your summer program.

Launching a summer program is like starting a new school year, but with less time for planning and execution. Good planning is key: It starts early, involves the right people, and follows best practices in budgeting and continuous improvement.

According to The Wallace Foundation, "research shows that program leaders who commit to a program in the fall and begin planning by January run smoother programs with fewer disruptions".
