Children enjoy playing and love to be involved. Using drama activities to engage students can increase their interest in learning and help them become more confident participants. In this workshop, Honolulu Theater for Youth teaching artists will actively demonstrate a variety of simple and enjoyable drama strategies and exercises that help build students' cooperative and collaborative skills, while enhancing their abilities to think creatively and critically. Workshop participants will both experience the drama strategies and practice how to best facilitate the activities virtually. A variety of practical materials will be made available to all participants.
