Lights On Afterschool is the Nation’s only celebration of Afterschool Programs and their role in keeping kids safe,
​inspiring them to learn, and helping with working families. 

2021 Lights On Afterschool

Celebrating Lights On Afterschool looked a little different this year, but it was more important than ever to showcase the importance of afterschool programs and the hard work the out-of-school time community invests in providing for our keiki and ‘ōpio! 
​Programs were encouraged to celebrate by taking the Lights On Afterschool Dance Challenge! Youth created their own dance to "Light It Up - Remix" by Major Lazer! Check out #LightsOnHI on Instagram to see the video submissions!
