The Hawaiʻi Afterschool Alliance Summer Program Database is a collaborative effort to help families connect with summer learning, enrichment, recreation, and meal opportunities across Hawaiʻi. Together with the Hawaiʻi Children’s Action Network, the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) Summer School Coordinator, HIDOE School Food Services Branch, Hawaiʻi Child Nutrition Programs, our Summer Feeding Network, and community organizations statewide, we provide a centralized resource where families can explore summer opportunities for keiki of all ages.

The Hawaiʻi Afterschool Alliance's Summer 2026 Database is now accepting submissions! Our database welcomes a variety of in-person and virtual summer programs from anywhere in Hawaiʻi, as well as meal sites. If you are hosting a summer program or meal site, you can share dates, descriptions, and sign-up information all in one place where families can easily find and access it. Submit the form now!

Launching a summer program is like starting a new school year, but with less time for planning and execution. Good planning is key: It starts early, involves the right people, and follows best practices in budgeting and continuous improvement.
