STEM Mentorship Opportunities

College Students

BE THE STEMSPIRATION: Empower Young Minds and Share Your Journey! 
We’re looking for college STEM students to mentor middle schoolers in afterschool programs. 

As a mentor, you'll inspire middle school students in a one-time, fun, engaging session that connects real-world STEM knowledge to their dreams and aspirations.

Goals:
  • Inspire and engage youth to STEM
  • Build pipeline of STEM careers and pathways
Eligibility: 
  • College student majoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) 
Expectations:
  • Be available to talk to youth in-person at afterschool programs
  • Anticipated time commitment:   1.5 hours​
Program Timeline:
  • Late January 2025 - Paired with afterschool program 
  • February - Onboarding/Training
  • February - April - Share STEM experience
Application:
  • Rolling application
  • Accepting applications for Spring 2025
