HIDOE Community Engagement Branch's (CEB) Request for Applications for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) is now open. The CEB anticipates awarding approximately $1.5 million to implement the 21CCLC programs in high-poverty communities. 


The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers provide a range of high-quality out-of-school time services to support student learning and development, including tutoring and mentoring, homework help, academic enrichment (such as hands-on science or technology programs), and community service opportunities, as well as music, arts, sports, and cultural activities.
