Community Schools

He Lei Poina ʻOle Ke Keiki (A Lei Never Forgotten is the Beloved Child)
A community school is a place where school staff, families, students, and the community work together to help every child thrive.
IMPACT
Community Schools support the whole child, so they can succeed academically, emotionally, socially, and culturally. By bringing together the school, families, and the community to work as one team, Community Schools can empower students to overcome barriers to success. Without the Community School Coordinator, collaboration does not happen—and impact is lost.
