IMPACT
Summer learning helps students keep growing year round. Hawaiʻi ranks #2 in Reading recovery* and #4 in Math recovery* nationally (2019-2024). These programs provide safe, reliable care for children during out-of-school hours, giving working families peace of mind while strengthening local communities and keeping youth engaged and supported during the summer months. *Source: Educational Recovery Scorecard (2025) |

IMPACT
Community Schools support the whole child, so they can succeed academically, emotionally, socially, and culturally. By bringing together the school, families, and the community to work as one team, Community Schools can empower students to overcome barriers to success. Without the Community School Coordinator, collaboration does not happen—and impact is lost. |
