Programming efforts should also honor and pay tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, their families, and those who rose in service in response to that tragedy. (We suggest starting with eleven reflections about 9/11/01 and related ideas for service or service-learning projects.)

This year, YSA will award up to 60 grants of $1,000 each. (40 additional grants will be awarded via the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Arizona Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism, the Michigan Community Service Commission, and the New Jersey Governor’s Office of Volunteerism. More information coming soon for how to apply through those partners.) Grantees are required to engage at least 100 youth as volunteers in planning and implementing the service activities.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 11:59pm.

NAAF was created from the historic Keepseagle v. Vilsack litigation settlement.

The NAAF will provide grants to eligible entities for business assistance, agricultural education, technical support, and advocacy services to support Native farmers and ranchers. Eligible entities include 501(c)3 organizations, educational organizations, CDFIs and Native CDFIs, and tribal governments.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. HST.

]]><![CDATA[RFPs for Provision of Summer After-School Plus (A+) Services for HIDOE]]>Fri, 31 Jan 2025 20:12:09 GMThttps://www.hawaiiafterschoolalliance.org/funding-opportunities/rfps-for-provision-of-summer-after-school-plus-a-services-for-hidoeThe Hawaii State Department of Education (STATE), Office of Strategy, Innovation and Performance (OSIP), Community Engagement Branch (CEB), is soliciting proposals to provide summer after-school childcare for latchkey children who have completed kindergarten through grade four (4) or five (5) at various public elementary schools statewide. The proposals will be used by the STATE to establish a pool of qualified providers to administer the Summer After-School Plus (A+) program at designated schools. The STATE will select a provider from the qualified pool to oversee the program at each site. Multiple contracts may be awarded under this request for proposals, and the contract term will run from May 19, 2025, through April 30, 2026. Proposals must meet submission deadlines and adhere to all procedural requirements outlined in the RFP.

The deadline to submit a proposal is February 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
